During August we took part in the ‘Wish you were there’ event. This was an initiative of East Lothian Council, in partnership with local businesses, to encourage Edinburgh residents and visitors to discover more about East Lothian’s attractions.
The central park area of St Andrew Square became a temporary base for many of East Lothian’s businesses and visitor attractions. It was a hub of activity as visitors sampled the ‘Best of East Lothian’.
We wanted to let people know what a great area East Lothian is for cycling and we also ran a fun, Turbo Trainer Challenge with winners receiving a Belhaven Bikes goodie bag for their great effort. Gold medals were not required for our challenge…although there was the option of using some Wiggins sideburns in order to improve top speed!
