We met such a lot of great people who visited our stand at the Scottish Bike Show in Glasgow last month and it was so fantastic that our unique mix of cycle, skate and scoot products were so well received by the visiting families. We appreciated all the lovely comments very much. A lot of our visitors also talked about how much they loved visiting and holidaying in East Lothian, super to hear that our home county is held in such high regard.
We ran a free prize draw over the weekend and had a brilliant reponse, thank you to everyone who entered.
Congratulations to our winners…
Tim from Edinburgh who won the Toddlebike for his young daughter.
While at the Show we found out that Tim is attempting a Guinness World Record this Summer, cycling Lands End to John O’ Groats…and back again…1880 miles!, in aid of the British Heart Foundation. If you’d like to learn more, sponsor Tim or cheer him on, then check out his website.
Lottie from Peebles won our Rocket skateboard. Watch out Peebles for a new young, shredder in town! Our Scoot winner was Leo from Glasgow who won a goodie bag with Grit, Crisp and Lucky Scooters swag – ‘Scoot On Leo’!
It was a whirlwind of a weekend but we managed, when not in the exhibition hall, to briefly take in the atmosphere of the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome which is well worth a visit, why not book in for a taster session! We really enjoyed seeing BSD again who were back with an awesome BMX display and The Clan cycle stunt team featured this year, wowing the visitors too.
Thanks also go to a couple of our customers who kindly allowed us to display their bikes. The Kuota Kharma was from Dom of the Berwick Wheelers Cycling Club and one of our local Dunbar customers, Davey, allowed us to display his Surly Long Haul Trucker Disc which is a custom build we completed last year.
We hope our winners enjoy their prizes and thanks again to everyone who dropped by to say hello…including our valued customers who came along, sporting their Belhaven Bikes hoodies!
